Courior News: Federal inmate plan a moneymaker

I like Sheriff Perez but I hope he's not going to bid on guys from Gitmo too. From the Courior News,
Kane County Sheriff Pat Perez won praise this week for moving forward with a plan to allow the U.S. Marshals Service to house female inmates in the jail here.

Members of the county's executive committee approved a proposal to allow the Marshals Service to house up to 15 women in the county jail. The county will charge the service $88 per person per day as the women await trial in Chicago, which could amount to a total of $1,320 a day assuming all 15 beds are used every day.
